KitKat announces collaboration with an iconic Aussie favourite

It’s been called a ‘match made in heaven’ between two favourite Australian brands, and it’s coming to supermarket shelves later this month.

Nestlé is adding another flavour to its KitKat range of chocolate bars and blocks across the country.

The KitKat ‘packed with Milo’ products are being touted as the brand’s “biggest ever collaboration” that brings together two Aussie favourites.

Three products will be available from late July including the KitKat packed with Milo chocolate block, a snack-sized bar and a KitKat ‘Chunky’ version.

Nestlé’s head of marketing, confectionery Joyce Tan said the company was “beyond thrilled and proud” in announcing the new product combination.

The Milo range joins other collaborations previously announced this year, including Byron Bay Cookie blocks and a Lotus Biscoff KitKat Chunky bar.

Food transformations

Food innovation continues to be key to driving sales and consumer interest in existing products with Peters announcing a new Maxibon waffle ice cream sandwich.

Replacing the biscuit end of the original Maxibon with a waffle, the new release will hit supermarket shelves on Monday.
