Viva Energy announces people and tech head

Viva Energy Australia has appointed Amanda Flemming as its Chief People and Technology Officer to assist with the construction of state-of-the-art talent and digital capabilities pivotal to achieving the company’s retail, commercial and operational strategies.

The role, effective from October, will see Ms Flemming bring over 20 years’ experience across retail, fast food and FMCG as well as human resources, merchandise, operations and commercial functions.

Former experience and titles

Formerly at Super Retail Group, the owner of Super Cheap Auto, MacPac and Boating Camping Fishing (BCF), Ms Fleming has also enjoyed roles such as director of human resources at Coles Group, chief people officer for Pizza Hut US, and human resources director for Mars in Australia (where she served as European organisational development manager for Mars in the UK and Europe).
