Fire has badly damaged part of the southbound Ampol service station on the Hume Motorway at Pheasants Nest.
The blaze has gutted a section of the servo with flames destroying two bowsers.
The RFS said the blaze started around 6.45pm last night.
A Linfox B-double semi was destroyed by the fire which took crews two hours to bring under control.
Hazmat crews remain on the scene to ensure there’s no damage to the surrounding environment while fire investigators are trying to work out what sparked the blaze.
The truck driver was uninjured.
