Traralgon crash leaves milk truck smashed into service station in Victoria

A milk truck has lost control and smashed into a Victorian service station, narrowly missing motorist filling up their car.

Police were told the truck was travelling on Princess Street in Traralgon when it lost control coming out of a bend just after midnight.

The milk truck drove over the centre median strip, cleaned up traffic lights and hurtled into the petrol station.

It crashed into a car at the petrol bowers and had just missed a motorist who was filling up.

No one was seriously injured and and truck driver, believed to be aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The main road through Traralgon was closed for some time with west bound traffic on Princess Street completely blocked.
