Three people from Gracemere have been arrested and are due to face court after they allegedly robbed a service station in Stanwell on Saturday.

Police allege a 26-year-old Gracemere man entered the Main Street business, believed to be Stanwell Store, about 8.45am, produced a large knife and made demands for money and property from a male employee, who complied.

The man then left the business and got in a vehicle waiting outside that was allegedly driven by a 25-year-old Gracemere man, with a 27-year-old Gracemere female passenger.

The trio allegedly evaded police on Ridgeland Roads, Alton Downs, and crashed the vehicle before fleeing into bushland on Tyrell Road.

Police later took them into custody at a nearby property and they were charged with armed robbery.

The men were remanded into custody and the woman was released on police bail.

The men will appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on January 10 and the woman will appear in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on March 4.

No one was physically injured during the alleged incident.
