Servo robbery at Golden Grove

Police are investigating a service station robbery at Golden Grove early this morning.

About 2.45am on Saturday 29 October, two men entered the service station on The Golden Way, one armed with a speargun wrapped in a white cloth.  The men demanded money and cigarettes from a staff member.   The armed man stole money from the till and they both left on foot, last seen running north on Helicon Drive.

The staff member was not physically injured during the incident.

The suspects are described as being aged in their late 20s to mid 30s with a medium build.  One man was wearing black tracksuit pants, a grey hooded jumper and a leather jacket, the other man was wearing light blue jeans, a black hooded jumper and a brown coloured baseball cap.  Both men were wearing disposable masks.

Police searched the area for the suspects but were unable to locate them.
