Police have arrested a man following a Salisbury service station robbery early this morning.
Police will allege just after 1.30am on Monday 4 November, a man entered a service station on Commercial Road armed with a small knife, he threatened the staff member and demanded money.
The quick thinking staff member locked herself behind the counter. The offender stole a bottle of Gatorade drink and left the area on a pushbike.
Northern District patrols quickly cordoned the area, and were assisted by Police Dog Bandit, however were unable to locate the suspect.
About two hours later and after further investigation, patrols from Northern District attended an address nearby and arrested a 22-year-old man from Salisbury for aggravated robbery. He was granted police bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Court on 10 December.
