Service station break-in at Blakeview

Police are investigating a service station break-in at Blakeview last month and have released CCTV footage of the incident in the hope the public might be able to assist.

About 3.15am on Friday 16 June CCTV footage shows two men in a light coloured 4 door station wagon with roof racks enter the driveway of a service station on Main North Road. One man smashed the glass console window and climbed through into the store.

When inside the store, the suspect used a red angle grinder to cut the lock to two cigarette cabinets. He loads cigarettes into numerous bags before jumping over the counter and exiting the store.

The vehicle is seen to drive out from behind the service station on the southern side and the car is last seen heading south on Main North Road.

The suspect is wearing a dark coloured ‘Under Armour’ hooded jumper, black ‘Ecko Unltd’ tracksuit pants, a blue and white face cover and he is carrying a blue/grey backpack.

Anyone who recognises the suspect or the vehicle or has information that may be able to assist with the investigation is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au – you can remain anonymous.
