Queensland robber tries to disguise his face with marker pen

A robber has drawn all over his face with a felt pen in an attempt to disguise himself before he threatened a central Queensland service station attendant with a gun and made off with money.

The man walked into the business on Gladstone Road in Rockhampton just before midnight on Saturday armed with what appeared to be a handgun.

He demanded money and cigarettes from behind the counter before fleeing on foot.

The man has been described as Caucasian, about 175 centimetres tall, aged in his late 20s to early 30s, wearing a black beanie, black t-shirt and black pants.

Police have urged anyone who can “see through his disguise and recognise him” to call Policelink on 13 14 44 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
