Geelong Police are looking to identify a man believed to have been responsible for a petrol drive-off in Newcomb.
A car with the registration of 1RT9DL was stolen from a home in Preston in Melbourne’s inner north around 12pm on on 17 August, 2020.
The vehicle was then involved in a drive off at the service station in Newcomb at 5:55am the next morning.
Police said another incident in Melbourne’s CBD later that day has also been linked to the same man.
Officers have released images of the man in question in the hopes someone may know where he is or has information on the incidents.
He is described as Caucasian, mid 30’s with a heavy build and short, dark hair.
