Police are investigating a burglary at a Sheffield petrol station

Police are currently investigating a break-in at the United service station at Sheffield this morning.

Police said three offenders smashed the glass window of the Main Street venue at about 2.40am on Monday, before stealing a large quantity of items including cigarettes.

The offenders were seen leaving the scene in a white Suzuki Vitara, with the registration D77TZ.

Police are asking anyone with information about either the location of the vehicle or the burglary to contact Devonport Criminal Investigation Branch on 131 444.
