Orange robbery: BP servo worker left shaken after overnight robbery

A MALE service station attendant has been left shaken after an armed hold-up overnight in Orange.

The incident occurred at 12.15am on Friday at the BP service station on the Mitchell Highway.

Central West Police District Chief Inspector Peter Atkins said: “A man entered the store and threatened the assistant with a knife and demanded money and did get some money and then left the store”.

“The male attendant was shaken but nobody was injured.”

Chief Inspector Atkins said the man they are looking for is described as caucasian and around six foot tall (182 centimetres).

“A crime scene has been established and a forensic team will come in,” he said.

Chief Inspector Atkins has asked for anyone who was in the area and may have seen anything to contact Orange police or CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.

“We’re looking for anyone who might have been in the area and seen a man leave in a car or on foot,” he said.
