New unmanned Shepparton fuel stop begins service

Shepparton has a new service station on New Dookie Rd, with unmanned pumps and an on-site bulk fuel depot and lubricants warehouse.

Located across from the Shepparton saleyards, independent fuel company Petrogas began welcoming customers to the new facility last month. Open 24 hours, seven days a week, the servo is accessible to both B-double trucks and light passenger vehicles.

“Petrogas is excited to provide this facility to the community of Shepparton and surrounding districts,” a company statement said.

The new site offers petrol, diesel and Adblue products, and the pumps accept all forms of credit card payment along with Apple Pay and Petrogas cards.

In the statement, Petrogas said the self-serve structure of the outlet meant the company could improve prices and convenience for its customers.

“The concept of self-serve enables us to provide a low-cost operation,” the company said.

“That enables us to bring a competitive fuel offer to the customer.”

The company’s existing bulk fuel depot in Grahamvale has moved to the new site to provide a comprehensive fuel station for customers.

“This self-serve facility will provide competitively priced fuel that can be accessed by our existing bulk fuel customers as well as the general public.”

The new depot is one of many similar service stations in the area, as Petrogas expands across regional Victoria.
