A new petrol station is proposed to service travel between Central Queensland’s two major centres.
A proposal for a new service station on the Bruce Highway between Rockhampton and Gladstone has been lodged.
The site is located next to the Raglan Tavern, fronting the Bruce Highway about 50km from Gladstone and 20km from Mount Larcom.
It is proposed to cover 6779 sqm with direct access to and from the highway and will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The servo will have four bowsers, two truck bowsers, a fuel store and carparking spaces.
A proposal for a left-turn slip lane for northbound traffic has also been included in the plans.
The servo application was submitted to the Gladstone Regional Council by BGT Properties.

This would be the third service station on the corridor between Gladstone and Rockhampton, after Marmor and Mount Larcom.
