An armed robber, fully clad in black and disguised, executed a swift and calculated robbery at a service station in Sydney’s west early Sunday morning.
Around 4 am in the suburb of Guildford, the suspect, brandishing a knife, targeted the service station. Security footage captures the moment the robber exits the passenger side of a black sedan, calmly walks into the store, and threatens the worker with the knife.
The terrified employee immediately flees the counter, escaping past the waiting getaway vehicle. The robber then jumps over the counter, seizes the cash drawer, and swiftly returns to the sedan. The entire robbery is over in less than a minute.
The perpetrator was dressed entirely in black, with a hoodie and balaclava obscuring their identity.
As of now, police have not made any arrests. Service station owner Reema Khurana expressed her frustration and concern over the incident, emphasising the trauma experienced by her staff member.
“Our staff is our family, and when something like this happens to our family, it makes us very angry,” Ms Khurana told Channel 9.
Channel 9 also reported that the getaway car had fake license plates.
