Man pays for fuel completely naked at Sydney BP petrol station

It reads like the start of a bad dream…

A man has been captured on CCTV at a service station paying for fuel in nothing but a pair of thongs (yes, the ones you wear on your feet) and sunglasses.

Footage of the bizarre incident shows the naked man casually walking into Edgecliff BP, in Sydney.

The vision was captured last Thursday, but the reason for the man’s nudie run is still unclear (unlike his arse!).

Pictures and video were posted to Twitter by Bruno Bouchet, the manager of radio shock jock Kyle Sandilands.

“Real life version of that dream you have when you’re completely starkers in public,” Bouchet wrote.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Bouchet said while the petrol station worker believed the incident to be highly unusual, he was more concerned the naked man wasn’t wearing a mask.

“He thought it was crazy like anyone else,” he said.

“But there was no conversation about what was happening.

“He was concerned he wasn’t wearing a mask, but he was shocked and wanted to be professional, so didn’t say anything.”

In NSW it is illegal to “wilfully and obscenely expose his or her person… within view from a public place or a school”.

The maximum penalty is an $1100 fine, or six months in prison.
