Man crushed by truck at service station in south-west Sydney

A man in his 50s has been freed after being trapped under a truck for an hour and a half at a service station in south-west Sydney.

The man was working on a vehicle at the BP on Rookwood Road in Yagoona when he was crushed between two sections of it about 2.15pm.

Three NSW Ambulance crews including a specialist medical team worked with Fire and Rescue NSW to free the man.

He was conscious, talking, and was found to have suspected pelvis and abdominal injuries.

He was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
