A man charged with the aggravated robbery of a Fyshwick service station was due to face the ACT Magistrates Court on Saturday.
Police allege the 24-year-old man entered the BP service station on Ipswich Street about 11.30pm on Monday.
He allegedly threatened a staff member with a knife, before leaving on foot with an undisclosed sum of cash.
The man was also charged with common assault and police said they would oppose bail.
