Man caught allegedly robbing Victorian service station on camera

A gunman has been caught on camera allegedly committing an armed robbery at a service station near the Victoria-New South Wales border.

Police were told the man stormed his way through the Wodonga service station on McKoy Street on Saturday about 4.15am, with CCTV catching him in the act.

The man allegedly pulled out a gun, stole cash and fled on a motorbike.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man wore a black and silver helmet and a black jacket.

He is described to be between 185 and 195 centimetres tall.

Detectives are investigating if the incident is linked to another armed robbery at a service station in Lavington, NSW which occurred a short time later.

Police have appealed for anyone with information or anyone who witnesses the incident or with dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
