A man has been arrested and charged after allegedly robbing a Logan service station at knifepoint.
The terrifying robbery unfolded around midday yesterday, when the 21-year-old allegedly stormed the store in Waterford.
Police said the man allegedly walked to the front counter where he threatened the 52-year-old store attendant with a knife.
“The man then fled the store on foot with a sum of cash,” Queensland Police said.
After receiving a number of tip offs from the public, officers were able to track the man to a nearby home on Huntingdon Street at Bethania where he was taken into custody just after 1.00pm.
Vision of the arrest below shows officers handcuffing the man outside the home.
He has since been charged with one count of armed robbery and will appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
