Investigations underway following attempted armed robbery in Nowra

Investigations are underway following an attempted armed robbery at a service station in Nowra overnight.

Just after 11pm on Tuesday June 1, two people with their faces concealed attended a service station on Kalandar Street, Nowra.

Armed with wooden poles, the pair hit the window several times, cracking the glass. They were unable to gain entry and fled the scene.

A 38-year-old male employee retreated to another room and notified police.

Officers attached to South Coast Police District attended and established a crime scene.
