Engines ready for new servo

A new service station located on the corner of Pine Street and the Bruce Highway has officially opened, and the local staff are excited to serve the community.

This is now the fourth store in Queensland for Fresh Trading Co. which has been successfully implemented at a number of locations such as Nambour, Yeppoon and Townsville.

Fresh Trading Co. Director Leon Key said the team wanted to be more than just a run of the mill service station, with the intention to bring back old-fashioned service.

“We have a big variety on offer, but we really want to focus on bringing back good service and building relationships in the community.

“We don’t have screens or wires separating the staff to the customers, we want to reiterate that we’re all still people.”

The Mobil branded business is employing local staff, and utilised local companies during their construction period.

“We employed locals throughout the build, local contractors and local staff,” Mr Key said.

“It is hard to engage with the community when you don’t employ people from the community, that is what we pride ourselves on, it’s our point of difference.”

Fresh Trading Co. is open Monday to Sunday, 5am to 5pm.
