A Corio woman has been arrested and charged following a string of petrol thefts across Victoria.
It’s alleged she was driving a car that was stolen from a Torquay address last month.
That same car was then linked to a number of servo drive-offs in regional Victoria.
A car matching the description of the stolen car was then seen travelling through Belmont on Monday before stopping at an address in Corio.
The 25-year-old female driver was then arrested and has been charged with the theft of a motor vehicle and numerous counts of theft of petrol.
She appeared in the Geelong Magistrates Court on Monday and was remanded in custody until 28 July 2020.
