Cigarettes stolen from Whyalla Playford servo

Police are investigating a robbery at a Whyalla service station overnight.

Just after midnight on Tuesday 6 October, a man entered the service station on Playford Avenue at Whyalla Playford with his face covered with a t-shirt. He requested cigarettes then produced a knife.

He stole a small quantity of cigarettes and was last seen leaving on foot towards Elliott Street.

The suspect is described as of Caucasian appearance, 180 cm tall, aged about 20, slim/medium build, wearing a black t-shirt, white hoodie, black cargo pants and black shoes.

Police attended and searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
