Car Owner Dragged in Service Station Car Theft

A thief stole a car in Perth, Australia after the owner left it unlocked with the keys in the ignition while he went into a 7-Eleven petrol station to buy food. 

CCTV footage captured the moment the thief climbed into the car and quickly reversed away. The owner, who had noticed the theft and confronted the thief, was dragged from the car and sustained injuries to his face and arms. 

Police are asking the public to come forward with any information that could help identify the bearded man seen prior to the incident. The stolen car is a 1996 silver Toyota Camry with plates 9HM769.
