Caltex’s Enhanced Return: Powering Australia’s Future

The beloved Caltex brand is back, pledging its support to Australia’s transport sector with top-tier fuels, lubricants, and more.

Chevron, a global energy giant with over seven decades of presence in Australia, is the force behind Caltex’s resurgence. Caltex is boosting its distribution to ensure prompt delivery of its products nationwide. A key move in this expansion was Chevron’s purchase of Puma Energy (Australia) Holdings three years prior, and plans are in place to rebrand most of these retail locations with Caltex’s iconic Star symbol by year-end.

Caltex’s refreshed retail approach also introduces the Techron fuel system-cleaning agent, available in all fuel grades. It aids in cleaning and preventing dirt accumulation on vital engine parts. Moreover, Caltex Diesel with Techron D is an advanced additive perfect for all diesel engines, cleaning injectors, safeguarding parts from corrosion, and minimising foaming during refilling.

Caltex Delo with ISOSYN Technology is beneficial for diesel engines, promoting engine longevity and extended service durations, resulting in cost reductions. Based on 88 years of knowledge, ISOSYN Technology blends premium oils and advanced additives, providing protection comparable to synthetic oils. This superior additive formula prevents deposit accumulation, optimising vehicle performance which may lead to prolonged service times and reduced idle times.

Chevron not only produces its base oil but also owns Oronite, a leading additive company, and operates 21 blending facilities globally. Delo products are available in 155 nations.

For streamlined business operations, the Caltex StarCard is a fuel management solution that enhances fleet management. It’s versatile for all fleet sizes and is ideal for earthmoving enterprises with diverse vehicles. The StarCard comes in two formats: ‘Open’ and ‘Closed’ loop. The open loop grants access to all Caltex, Puma Energy stations, and over 6000 partner stations in Australia. In contrast, the closed loop option gives businesses access to Caltex’s Techron fuels without transaction fees. Both have customisable security options for drivers and vehicles.

StarCard holders also get exclusive discounts from top tire sellers, auto parts retailers, vehicle service providers, and lodging establishments.

Caltex remains devoted to serving the Australian market. Whether for a family enterprise or a corporate fleet, Caltex offers expert guidance, dependable fuel equipment solutions, high-quality fuel supply, and trusted lubricants.
