BP Australia has successfully completed its acquisition of X Convenience, a leading fuel and convenience retailer based in South Australia.
This marks a significant step in BP’s strategic expansion, reinforcing its presence across Australia’s convenience and mobility sector. The acquisition adds 49 locations across South Australia and Western Australia to BP’s growing network.
Paul Augé, Senior Vice President of Mobility, Convenience & Midstream for Australia and New Zealand, highlighted the importance of this milestone, emphasising BP’s commitment to enhancing its customer offering in South Australia while solidifying its nationwide reach.
“This is a defining moment for BP Australia. We are delighted to welcome the X Convenience team into the BP family and look forward to elevating our fuel, convenience, and card services with a refreshed presence in South Australia,” Augé stated.
“Our focus is on learning from each other and driving growth together as we expand our business.”
BP first announced its intention to acquire X Convenience in May. Now fully integrated, the X Convenience network complements BP’s existing sites across South Australia, ensuring a seamless and accessible service for both fleets and everyday motorists.
Customers can now enjoy the convenience of using BP Plus cards and BP Rewards at all X Convenience locations, further enhancing their experience across the expanded network.
