Arrests following aggravated robbery

Two people have been arrested after they allegedly stole cigarettes from a service station late last night in the western suburbs.

Just after 10pm on Friday 1 July, police were called to a service station on Henley Beach Road at Fulham after reports two girls entered the store and threatened staff before stealing cigarettes.

The suspects left on foot and were last seen running west on Henley Beach Road.

Patrols were quickly on scene and searched the area. A short time later they located the suspects at the corner of Henley Beach Road and Eltham Court and they were arrested without incident.

A 19-year-old from Holden Hill and a 12-year-old from Morphettville were both charged with aggravated robbery. They were refused police bail and will appear in court on Monday 4 July.
