Appeal for information following service station armed robbery – Port Macquarie

Investigations are underway following an armed robbery of a service station on the state’s Mid North Coast yesterday.

About 3.20am (Monday 19 September 2022), a man – armed with a metal object – entered a service station on Lord Street, Port Macquarie, and threatened an employee demanding money.

The man fled the scene on foot a short time later with cash.

Officers attached to Mid North Coast Police District were notified and established a crime scene, which was forensically examined.

As inquiries into the incident continue, police have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with investigations.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 40s, with a solid build.

He is depicted in the image wearing a light grey ‘Mossimo’ hoodie, cream pants, black and white running shoes, and sunglasses.
