Allen’s teams up with Peter’s for Drumstick lollies

The return of a range of lollies has Aussies excited for the “two favourite treats combined into one”.

Food team-ups are a sure way to get customers riled up – and now two iconic brands have come together to bring lolly lovers a new sweet treat.

Allen’s has teamed up with Peter’s to bring lollies inspired by the frozen favourites Drumstick and Frosty Fruits.

It is a reimagining of a similar range launched in 2018 that was one of the most popular collections in Allen’s history.

Meanwhile, the Frosty Fruits range includes Tropical, Summer Sunset and Watermelon slice.

Sapphira Nolan, Nestlé marketing manager of lollies, said: “Nothing says summer more than ice cream.

“So, it makes sense to partner with the experts in this space, Peters Ice Cream, to offer a delicious twist on the popular Aussie treats you love.”

Peters ice cream marketing manager Carla Spadafora added: “Our collaboration with Allen’s Lollies was so popular when we first launched it back in 2018.

“So when we were given the opportunity to bring back these fan favourites, we had to say yes!”

Rumours of the range’s return have been swirling around social media since September 2022.

When the collaboration first came out in 2018, social media users were over the moon.

“OMG I love these; I want some,” one said on an online post about the treats.

Another said: “My two favourite little treats! Ice cream and lollies combined into one!”

One person said: “These are incredible! And the Frosty Fruit ones!”

Allen’s Frosty Fruits and Drumstick ranges are now available in a 170g pack in Coles, independent supermarkets and convenience retailers nationally for $3.60.
