BP Introduces Its Revamped Convenience Store Format

BP has revealed a major renovation at Caboolture North, now its largest service station in Australia, aimed at delivering a better experience for all drivers. This upgrade is part of BP’s broader initiative to refresh over 400 of its sites across the country, showcasing what the future of BP service stations will look like.

The revamped Caboolture North station now boasts a brand-new Wildbean café, modern amenities, and an improved lounge for truck drivers. The lounge is designed to be a comfortable space where drivers can rest, relax, and enjoy facilities such as showers, laundry, and entertainment options.

“With more than a million customers passing through each year, Caboolture North is our busiest location in Australia. We want to make sure that every visitor has a top-notch experience,” said Lisa Archbold, BP’s Vice President of Mobility & Convenience for Australia and New Zealand.

“We recognise that each customer has different needs, whether they’re on a family road trip, commuting daily, driving long hauls, or working shifts. That’s why we took everyone into consideration when redesigning Caboolture North,” Archbold added.

The redesign was led by retail design experts at McCartney Design. Archbold also highlighted that as the shift to electric vehicles grows, more customers will be spending additional time at BP stations while their vehicles recharge, making these upgrades even more crucial.
