Costco has introduced a new Fuel Station at 46 Railway Road, Coomera in Queensland on May 23. Furthermore, they have announced the opening of their warehouse at 47 Creek Road, Coomera on June 22, 2023.
Operating hours for the fuel station are from 6 am to 7:30 pm on Saturdays and from 7 am to 7 pm on Sundays. Customers will have access to 28 fueling positions, including two ultra high flow pumps, offering ULP E10 94, premium 98, and diesel fuel options.
According to Patrick Noone, the Managing Director of Costco Australia, the Fuel Station aims to provide members with exceptional savings when refuelling.
To ensure efficient refuelling, Costco Fuel Stations are equipped with extra-long hoses, allowing members to fill up from either side of their vehicle. The pumps are also fitted with vapour recovery systems to minimize fuel vapour emissions. The bowsers feature the latest pay-at-the-pump technology, offering members a seamless and convenient refuelling experience. Additionally, certified Costco fuel attendants will be present on-site to assist members and maintain safety.
Members can sign up for the Fuel Station on-site or at the temporary office located at 116 Siganto Drive, Helensvale. It is important to note that only Costco members will be able to use the Fuel Station.
Once the warehouse opens in June, it will offer a wide range of brand-name products across various categories, such as groceries, confectionery, appliances, television and media, automotive supplies, toys, hardware, sporting goods, jewellery, watches, cameras, books, housewares, apparel, health and beauty aids, furniture, office supplies, and office equipment. The Coomera location will also include specialty departments like a bakery, fresh meat and produce, deli, Optical Department, Hearing Aid Centre, Tyre Centre, and Food Court.
The establishment of this warehouse is expected to generate over 250 full-time jobs, contributing positively to the growth of the Coomera area. Mr Noone expresses Costco’s confidence in the region’s dynamic and fast-growing nature, emphasizing their commitment to providing great value and a wide range of products and services to the community.
With over 800 sites worldwide and 14 other warehouse locations in Australia, Mr Noone is confident that the people of the Gold Coast will enjoy the unique shopping experience offered by Costco. He highlights that becoming a member is easy through the website Costco.com.au, granting access to exclusive quality brand-name merchandise at significantly lower prices compared to conventional wholesale or retail stores. Additionally, members can avail themselves of the online delivery service and shop at any Costco warehouse globally.
