OAK Launches Lactose-Free Chocolate Milk

Living with lactose intolerance can be challenging, but there’s good news for those who have trouble digesting dairy. OAK, the popular chocolate milk brand, has launched a lactose-free version of their classic drink.

This move is well-timed, as research shows that one in four Australians claim to be sensitive to dairy. In fact, Google searches for “lactose-free” have been steadily increasing over the past five years, with a peak at the end of 2022.

Other companies have also jumped on the lactose-free trend. Ice Break has released a lactose-free iced coffee that still contains two shots of real coffee, but uses Zymil’s low-fat lactose-free milk instead of full-cream milk. Bega Stringers have also introduced a lactose-free version.

The OAK Chocolate Lactose-Free 600ml is now available at Woolworths, Coles, independent grocery stores, and petrol and convenience stores.
