Police are investigating after a man stole money from a service station early this morning.
About 3.40am on Tuesday 10 January, police were called to a service station on Main North Road after a man entered wearing a balaclava, and placed a note on the counter demanding money.
The staff member handed over an amount of cash before the man left on foot heading west on Victoria Road.
No weapon was sighted and no one was injured as a result of the incident.
The suspect (pictured below) is described as being Caucasian, aged in 20s, about 183cm tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a black zip up hooded jumper, light olive green/beige pants, tan coloured work boots and a black full face balaclava.
