2022 National Wage Review Results

The Fair Work Commission has handed down its decision on the level minimum wages should be increased. This is the first time we have seen the FWC announce a different increase for the National Minimum Wage and Modern Award Wages.

It was decided that the National Minimum Wage would increase by 5.2% and the Modern Award Wage would increase by 4.6% unless the minimum weekly wage under the Modern Award is less than $869.60.

As part of their explanation for the increase in wages, the FWC stated that the increase is in response to a low unemployment rate and the rising cost of living.

We are still waiting on further information to clarify exactly what the award wages for service stations will be. As soon as this information is made available we will be sharing the exact rates you should be paying your employees in the ServoPro Members area.
