Police are appealing for the public’s assistance after an armed robbery at a service station in Dubbo yesterday.
About 4.35am yesterday (Monday 9 November 2021), two unknown men entered a service station at the intersection of Whylandra and Victoria Street, Dubbo, one armed with a knife.
Police have been told the men threatened the service attendant with a knife demanding cash and cigarettes.
The pair met a third person outside the service station before fleeing in a white Holden Commodore and were last seen driving north on Whylandra Street.
They stole about $200 in cash and an amount of cigarettes from the store.
The employee suffered minor injuries.
Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District attended and commenced an investigation.
As inquiries continue, investigators are seeking to identify two men described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander in appearance, aged 20-25, wearing black clothing and a face mask. One man wearing black joggers and the other red joggers.
