Police and fire crews were called to a Dapto service station on Monday night after a car ran into a gas pump.
The incident happened at around 7.30pm when a grey Hyundai hatchback hit the autogas bowser at the 7-11 on the Princes Highway Dapto.
A white sedan was also damaged in the incident.
There were no injuries involved and staff at the petrol station were able to switch off the gas flow to the bowser.
The cause of the accident is unknown at this stage and police are still investigating.
